It's Friday and we're here with some behind the scenes shots from the production floor. We build our boots here in Eugene, Oregon and we're very proud of our process and the end result, and we think you will enjoy some behind the scenes action.

Each pair of boots gets leather inserts that sit on top of the leather footbed.

Bundles and bundles of our flat leather welt.

And here's the storm version of the welt.

... being lasted ...

... stapled ...

And here it is after being welted.

Before adding cork, the upper leather is trimmed for an even flat bottom.

Cork is one of the reasons our boots are so comfortable to wear.

Thick, veg-tan midsoles are applied after the cork.

Once the outsole, the commando in this case, is attached with adhesive, it is outsole stitched.

Sanding is the final step on the line before finishing.
