Factory Friday: August 1st

Factory Friday: August 1st

It's Friday and we're here with some behind the scenes shots from the production floor. We build our boots here in Eugene, Oregon and we're very proud of our process and the end result, and we think you will enjoy some behind the scenes action.

A thick, tough-but-supple leather is kind of our jam.

A stitch frozen in time.

These Uplands are perfect as we head toward fall.

Some might not be able to make American Manufacturing work, but we sure do.

We appreciate cork for its naturalness, as well as its ability to form perfectly underfoot through wear.

Heels are a separate piece from the main sole component, and is paired here with a leather stack. It is attached first using adhesive and then a set of 8 nails.

A custom pair of Uplands in Olive Teton Stag.

Final sanding.

True to the words on our sole, Made in Oregon.

Black Waxed Flesh is looking great in this all eyelet customized preorder.

British Tan Grizzly looks incredibly good in this new build.

One of the last steps before the final Q/C involves the dexterous application of stain to the welt, midsole and leather stack of the heel.

Hopefully this was an enjoyable insight into our process. Check back next week to see more.
